The SEC Chair is supposed to referee Wall Street banks, but Jay Clayton has spent his entire career protecting their interests. He even served as Goldman Sachs bailout lawyer, helping the bank secure $10 billion in federal bank bailout money. Clayton cannot be trusted to suddenly switch sides and put working Americans first. Please vote to reject his nomination as SEC Chair.
The Securities and Exchange Commission was formed to protect regular Americans from being taken advantage of by Wall Street.
