For months, Senate Democrats’ campaign committee has sent fundraising and list-building emails to grassroots progressives begging them to donate to back a filibuster keeping right-wing extremist Neil Gorsuch off the Supreme Court.

It’s no mystery why. People are justifiably terrified about the future of the Court.

But now, two Democratic senators have said they will vote for putting this radical right-winger into a lifetime seat on the Supreme Court.

Here’s where it gets crazy – the DSCC’s policies mean it will take money given by grassroots Democrats and send it straight to those senators who betray progressives by confirming Gorsuch.

Sign the petition to DSCC Chair Chris Van Hollen: Refuse to allocate DSCC funds to any Democratic senator who votes or strikes a deal to put right-wing extremist Neil Gorsuch on the Supreme Court.

Gorsuch is a threat to everything Democrats say they stand for. Women, the LGBT community, Muslims, people of color, workers, immigrants, our environment, common-sense laws against big money in politics – they’re all at risk.

Unless you’re a big corporation, it’s pretty certain Neil Gorsuch won’t be on your side.

He even ruled that a trucker should have risked freezing to death in an unheated, broken down truck during -14 degree weather, just because his company hadn’t given him permission to leave!

Maybe the DSCC (Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee) put it best. They call Gorsuch “exactly the kind of right-wing ideologue who will come to the bench ready to roll back progress and pave the way for Trump to build his wall, ban Muslims, and repeal Obamacare.”

So on what planet does it make sense for the DSCC to send grassroots donors’ money to help re-elect Democrats who work to put that “right-wing ideologue” on the Supreme Court??

When Joe Manchin or Heidi Heitkamp announce they are voting for Gorsuch it’s an outrage.

And when Chris Coons of safe-blue Delaware says he’s trying to cut a “deal” that would put Gorsuch on the Court, it’s an absolute betrayal.

But you wouldn’t know it from DSCC emails saying they desperately need your money to sustain a filibuster of Gorsuch, blasting out news headlines like “Senate Democrats vastly outspent by right in Gorsuch fight.”

There’s a simple solution – the DSCC should commit not to send re-election funds to Democrats who undermine the filibuster against Neil Gorsuch it asserts is so critical.
