Republicans are siding with cable and phone companies and opposing strong Net Neutrality rules.
Tell them to stand with the public on Net Neutrality and not shill for monopolists -- just add your name at right and we'll tweet at them for you.
Whether liberal or conservative, the principles of Net Neutrality are overwhelmingly supported by the public. Polls show that even an overwhelming majority of self-identified conservatives support Net Neutrality.
Put simply, Net Neutrality is about keeping the Internet open, the way it always has been.
Unfortunately, dozens of Republican Members of Congress are siding with phone and cable companies like Comcast, Verizon, and AT&T, which oppose Net Neutrality, instead of the public.
When Republicans make comments like Senator Ted Cruz, who says that Net Neutrality is “Obamacare for the Internet,” it shows that not only do they not understand the issue, but that they are more interested in siding with cable monopolies that are continuously among the top spenders in Washington.
Tell Republicans that opposing strong Net Neutrality is a losing issue for them: We'll tweet the names of petition signers (one-by-one) at the over three dozen Republican Members of Congress that have signed a letter to the FCC opposing Title II reclassification.
