It's almost unthinkable. Reports have surfaced* that the Senate is contemplating doing something crazy: Resurrecting and passing an Internet censorship bill -- part of the Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA) that we beat a couple of years ago.

The provision would make it a felony to merely stream copyrighted content online. This absurdly aggressive move would put tons of people at risk.

Post a video of somebody singing karaoke?  Singing happy birthday?  Playing a video game? You'd be in jeopardy if this bill passes.

That's because big donors like Hollywood and other content owners are still pursuing their war on Internet users -- and the people they donate to want to do them a favor before this session of Congress ends.

But if thousands of us speak out, we can get them to back off of this censorship plan -- once, and hopefully for all.

Add your name at right to tell the Senate to back down.
