Tell Congress: Stop the FCC's plan to destroy net neutrality!

    Petition to Congress:

"As your constituent, I urge you to cosponsor the Congressional Review Act (CRA) ‘resolution of disapproval’ to reverse the FCC’s repeal of net neutrality.

The FCC order allowing internet providers to slow down and block content at their choosing leaves the public without protections from corporate censorship, and leaves small businesses without the ability to compete with larger sites and services. The effects on free expression and innovation will be devastating.

Unless it is stopped, the FCC’s anti-net neutrality order will go down as a historically bad decision negatively impacting millions of Americans who rely on the internet for work, education, news, entertainment, and so much more. Now is the time to stand up against this plan to destroy net neutrality. Stand with your constituents, not Comcast."

You’ve probably heard that Trump’s FCC voted late last year to repeal net neutrality rules and hand control of the internet over to corporate giants like Comcast and Verizon.

But Congress has the power to overturn the FCC’s terrible decision.

And here’s the amazing news: We’ve got huge momentum. 50 U.S. senators support the “resolution of disapproval” to overturn the FCC’s move. And we are closer than ever to getting the 51st vote we need to pass the resolution to restore net neutrality in the Senate.

But we still need a majority in the House of Representatives, and a large margin in the Senate will help us get there – it will take a flood of grassroots energy to win this fight.

Tell your members of Congress: Save the free and open internet. Overturn the FCC’s repeal of net neutrality!
