Block Trump's bear-killing policies in Alaska!
Petition to Congress:
We urge you to speak out and stop the Trump administration's new reckless rules that loosen restrictions on hunters luring bears and Big Oil companies killing bears in Alaska. We also urge you to oppose the White House rolling back the Roadless Rule and ending reviews of drilling projects in Alaska under the National Environmental Policy Act.
The Trump administration just made two despicable rule changes that will kill bears in Alaska.
Trump's Park Service rolled back a Biden administration rule that had banned certain unethical hunting practices in Alaska. Now, because of Trump, hunters can use doughnuts soaked in bacon grease to lure bears to their deaths.1 This policy could even endanger the lives of people, making it more likely that bears will seek out human food from hikers and campers.
Trump also loosened legal liabilities for Big Oil companies when they kill polar bears in Alaska, inevitably leading to avoidable bear deaths as corporate oligarchs drill for profits.2 Congress must prevent Trump's reckless, heartless policies from taking effect.

Trump has spent his second term rolling back protections for America's national parks, forests, lands, and wildlife. He slashed funding for cherished national parks in favor of gold-plated authoritarian renovations in D.C. He gutted protections for 45 million acres of protected forests. He loosened pollution regulations on oil drilling in Alaska.3,4,5
Now, his anti-bear, anti-conservation, pro-hunter, pro-fossil fuel policies will threaten the lives of bears and people for no good reason.
Yet again, it's all about what's good for Trump, his MAGA loyalists, and his corporate oligarch friends, not America and the people. Congress must take a stand and protect our environment and wildlife from these disastrous rollbacks.
