Will The Patriot Act Live On? Help Fund Our Web Ad

We need to erase bin Laden's ugly legacy, not extend it. The Patriot Act is up for renewal this month, and a fierce debate is brewing:

Our opponents argue that bin Laden's death is evidence that the post-9-11 spying regime was justified, but we believe that by closing the book on the Patriot Act's erosion of our civil liberties, we can protect the freedoms that make America worth fighting for.

Thanks to a tactic called "googlebombing" we can pay for people in targeted districts all across the country see our ads.  As Americans follow the bin Laden story, we want to make sure that they know that Congress is considering extending the Patriot Act -- and that they have a chance to fight back.  We're a wholly membership funded organization, and need your support to continue our work.
