Trump is elevating yet another unqualified MAGA loyalist to a critical, high-level role in his government: Jay Clayton for director of national intelligence (DNI).

Clayton repeated Trump's lies about the recent California elections being rigged, saying the U.S. is "doing an absolutely terrible job" on so-called election integrity, "and the American people are right to question it."¹

Trump continues stacking his government with dangerous officials who put their MAGA allegiance above the law and the Constitution. Yet, some Democrats are signaling quick support for Clayton.² Confirmation hearings start this week, and our Senators must stand united against Trump's DNI pick.

As a top DOJ prosecutor, Clayton aided Pam Bondi and Trump in weaponizing the government against Democrats as part of the continued Epstein files cover-up.³

As SEC chair during Trump's first term, Clayton catered to Wall Street executives instead of protecting everyday working people.⁴

Clayton has a clear track record of doing Trump's bidding. He'd be a disaster as DNI and our Senators must oppose him!
