Block Trump's authoritarian vanity projects and save the Kennedy Center!
Petition to Congress:
We urge you to support bills to keep the president's face and signature off of U.S. currency, keep his name off of federal buildings, and protect institutions like the Kennedy Center. We urge you to block the construction of the White House ballroom, triumphal arch, and other wasteful, self-serving Trump administration projects.
Trump is rushing to build his $600 million White House ballroom and illegally break ground on a massive military-equipped D.C. arch — wasting taxpayer dollars to renovate the country in his authoritarian image.1,2
When courts stopped him from adding his name to the Kennedy Center, he threatened to bulldoze the historic cultural institution. MAGA loyalists in Congress just blocked a bipartisan bill to protect the Kennedy Center from Trump's demolition.3
Trump's allies put his face on U.S. currency and they want to put his face on Mount Rushmore. "It is essential that we immortalize President Trump’s likeness on Mount Rushmore," said one MAGA House member.4 Congress must protect the rule of law and America's history from Trump's grotesque vanity projects.

Trump is trying to slap his name on transit hubs, federal buildings, and Ford's Theatre.5 Florida went ahead with his wishes and named an airport after him.6
He destroyed parts of the White House and paved over the Rose Garden. He used our tax dollars to coat statues in gold on the National Mall and conduct a ridiculous renovation of the reflecting pool. He draped a banner of his face over the Department of Justice. All in service of Trump's "Golden Age" of America — a racist, far-right dictatorship.
Our lawmakers must reject Trump's MAGA vision, pass legislation to protect the Kennedy Center, and stop Trump's authoritarian construction projects.
