    Block Trump's White House ballroom construction, get his face off of U.S. currency, and keep his name off of the Kennedy Center!

    Petition to Congress:
    We urge you to support bills to keep the president's face and signature off of U.S. currency and keep his name off of federal buildings. We urge you to block the construction of the White House ballroom and other wasteful, self-serving Trump administration projects.

    The Supreme Court just ruled that Trump can keep building his $600 million White House ballroom, despite Chief Justice John Roberts saying that the construction is "likely unlawful."1

    Yes, even the conservative head of SCOTUS says Trump's actions are probably illegal, but five other justices said the administration can continue building this gold-plated shrine to an authoritarian.

    Trump's Treasury Department also just announced that it is already circulating a one dollar coin with Trump's face on it.2 Trump is trampling on the rule of law to put his far-right authoritarian stamp on America. Our lawmakers must act now to stop Trump from remodeling the country in his MAGA image.

    Trump threatened to demolish the Kennedy Center if he can’t conduct his renovations on the cultural institution. His administration just removed a historic sculpture from the Center grounds in order to create the "President Donald J. Trump Plaza."3,4

    Trump paved over the historic White House Rose Garden, unrolled a banner with his face on it at the Department of Justice, and slapped his name on federal buildings like the Kennedy Center.5,6

    Trump and his loyalists are pursuing an endless stream of measures to glorify Trump and remake America in his strongman image, including efforts to "immortalize" him by putting his face on Mount Rushmore.7 His MAGA allies even used $5.5 million to rename a major Florida airport, "Donald J. Trump International Airport."8

    Congress must act now to stop Trump's dangerous, anti-democratic self-glorification.
