No war on Cuba! Pass a war powers resolution and end the humanitarian crisis.
Petition to Congress:
We urge you to co-sponsor and pass a war powers resolution to stop U.S. military action against Cuba. Americans don’t want another war. We urge you to call for an end to the embargo on Cuba, which is causing a dire humanitarian crisis.
Trump told the Pentagon to ramp up military preparations for an attack on Cuba, according to recent reports.1 "We may stop by Cuba" after the war on Iran, he said.2
Trump has demanded the removal of the Cuban president and said he wants to "take" Cuba.3,4 Trump's illegal oil embargo on Cuba has lasted for months, causing blackouts, food shortages, water scarcity, and mass suffering.5
Senator Tim Kaine announced that he will force an imminent vote on a war powers resolution to stop military action against Cuba. Congress has the opportunity, and the constitutional authority, to block Trump from launching strikes on Cuba in the coming days.

Trump is overriding Congress to wreak havoc on the world. He bombed Venezuela and kidnapped the president. He’s waging a horrific, senseless war on Iran, and is supporting Israel’s strikes on Iran and Lebanon. He threatened European allies with an invasion of Greenland. Now, he’s threatening Cuba while punishing its population with mass suffering.
Americans, and the world, are sick of Trump's wars. "Trump has started illegal regime change conflicts in Venezuela and Iran and is now threatening Cuba," Rep. Jayapal said last month. "These military attacks put our troops in danger, endanger innocent civilians, waste billions of taxpayer dollars, and are not what the American people want."6
Congress must act as a real check on Trump’s power and prevent another illegal war.
Sign the petition: Stop another regime change war. Save Cuba from Trump’s blockade and military aggression.
