Block funding for ICE and Border Patrol now!
Petition to the U.S. House:
We urge you to vote against the temporary DHS funding bill in order to stop fueling ICE and Border Patrol violence in Minneapolis and across the country.
22 Democrats in the Senate voted with a majority of Republicans to pass a two-week funding bill for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) — handing over millions to ICE and Border Patrol.1
But the temporary funding bill for Trump’s far-right security forces now needs to pass the House. Republicans hold only a slim majority in the House, and a unified opposition could block DHS funding.
The representatives of the people must reject funding for Trump’s authoritarian takeover and violent mass deportations machine. And a vote is imminent.

While nationwide ICE protests erupted after federal agents shot and killed Renee Good and Alex Pretti, Trump continued his federal invasion of Minneapolis. ICE is arresting people at a horrific rate to meet Stephen Miller’s daily quotas. DHS is buying warehouses to use as mega detention centers.2 Minneapolis and cities across the country are suffering from Trump’s lawless terror.
Democrats in the House remain divided on DHS funding, even as a vote is imminent.3 Lawmakers have a choice: rubber-stamp unaccountable ICE violence or reject Trump’s runaway authoritarianism. The House must stop ICE now.
