Last week, Kash Patel's FBI raided an Ohio voter registration group based on claims of "voter fraud" from the Trump Department of Justice.1
Trump has called any election outcome he doesn't like "fraud," "crooked," and "rigged." He's weaponized the government to attack his political enemies and threaten democratic elections. His former MAGA advisor Steve Bannon has called for ICE to surround the polls in November.2
This is an emergency. Congress must put an end to Trump's authoritarian attacks on voting.

Ohio Congresswoman Shontel Brown called the raid an "unprecedented attack on democracy." She called out the "systematic effort by Trump and Kash Patel’s FBI to attack our elections and perpetuate more myths of voter fraud — all to undermine and challenge any election result that Trump does not agree with."3
Trump is ramping up his assault on free and fair elections ahead of the November midterms. He’s filled his administration with loyalists and installed election deniers in key government positions. It’s a serious, chilling threat to free and fair elections and the U.S. Constitution.
Congress must uphold the law, save our democracy, and end Trump's weaponization of his government.
