    Hold Boeing accountable!

    Petition to the Department of Justice:
    We urge you to investigate Boeing given the allegations that the company violated its Trump-era immunity deal.

    Boeing might finally face accountability for the 2018 and 2019 crashes that killed over 300 people.1

    In January of 2021, just before President Trump left office, his Department of Justice (DOJ) gave Boeing a secret deal that shielded Boeing from facing any criminal fraud charges related to the company’s actions that led to these crashes.2 Because of former President Trump, Boeing has avoided any consequences for its negligence, even as its airplanes continue breaking and malfunctioning. Until now.

    President Biden’s DOJ determined that Boeing violated Trump’s deal that was meant to shield the mega-corporation from prosecution. Now, the DOJ must proceed with a criminal investigation against Boeing and its top executives to hold them accountable.

    Sign the petition: Urge the Department of Justice to pursue criminal fraud investigations into Boeing.

    In January, an airplane door plug blew out over Portland, Oregon on a Boeing plane. Soon after, damning reports emerged about the subcontractor who had made the body of the plane that had the door blowout. The subcontractor alleged that Boeing had instructed them to falsify records and misrepresent defects and safety issues.3

    This is the kind of fraud that upended the Boeing-Trump deal and will allow President Biden’s DOJ to pursue criminal charges. It’s critical that Boeing is held accountable to prevent more crashes and plane malfunctions. In addition to the door blowout, Boeing’s recent incidents include: a United Airlines flight making an emergency landing in Oregon after losing an entire panel, a plane nosediving during an Australian flight, a wheel falling off a plane in California, and an engine catching fire in Texas. And that’s not even the end of the list.4

    Lives have been lost because of Boeing’s greed and continued prioritization of profit over the safety of consumers. It’s time for the Biden administration to investigate Boeing.
