    No more taxpayer dollars for ICE! End mass deportations and shut down abusive ICE prisons.

    Petition to Congress:
    We urge you to oppose all funding for ICE. No more taxpayer dollars should go towards fueling ICE violence and inhumane, abusive ICE detention centers. We urge you to investigate and shut down all ICE prisons violating the human rights of detainees.

    The Senate JUST passed a $70 billion ICE funding bill, even after another week of Trump's shocking authoritarian mass deportations regime:

    Immigrants sued ICE for "horrific" conditions at the Camp East Montana DHS detention center in Texas.1 Trump's far-right security forces brutalized protesters outside of a Newark ICE prison accused of widespread abuses.2 Trump's DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin refused to commit to obeying the law.3

    According to Mullin, court orders demanding that DHS end illegal activities are merely coming from "politicized" judges. Senator Chris Murphy said of ICE, "Every single day, this agency is violating the Constitution and the law."4 Now, we must stop the House from handing billions more to ICE to fund their mass abuses.

    The Camp East Montana lawsuit documents devastating, inhumane treatment, including severe medical neglect, officer violence and coercive threats against detainees, inadequate and rancid food, and unsanitary living conditions.5 This kind of horrible treatment is widespread across DHS detention centers.

    At the Newark ICE prison, Delaney Hall, local and state officials are pursuing legal avenues to shut down the facility in response to poor conditions and the facility’s barring public health officials from conducting inspections.6

    Trump has sent ICE to city after city to attack people, kill people, imprison record numbers, and spread fear. More funding will allow ICE to further expand its authoritarian activities.

    Trump originally set a June 1 deadline to pass another "historic" funding bill for ICE. With the GOP missing another deadline, Trump is ramping up pressure on Congress to pass this latest dangerous, shameful funding bill.
