    Petition to the U.S. House:
    We urge you to impeach Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth.

    Pete Hegseth faces a long list of impeachment charges. He's leading an illegal war. The U.S. military is committing atrocities, including the bombing of a girls' school in Iran that killed over 170 civilians, a majority of whom were children, on the first day of Trump's war.1

    In March, he said, "We will keep pushing, keep advancing, no quarter, no mercy for our enemies," which is a call to commit war crimes and violate international law.2

    Hegseth has also abused his powers to pursue Trump's political enemies, mishandle sensitive military information, and obstruct Congressional oversight. Democrats have now filed impeachment charges against Hegseth — all of Congress must support this effort and hold him accountable.

    Hegseth refuses to face the disastrous realities of his war on Iran and his reckless leadership.

    Hegseth's critics include Republican Rep. Thomas Massie, who said Hegseth broke the law and "must be held accountable."3

    Last year, reports showed that Hegseth gave a "kill everybody" order during an airstrike on a boat in the Caribbean. U.S. forces then launched a second strike on the boat that killed defenseless survivors.4 Hegseth and Trump continue these deadly, extrajudicial boat bombings to this day.5

    Hegseth has helped Trump throw the world into chaos with illegal wars, horrific threats, and unconscionable airstrikes. Our Representatives must uphold our laws and hold Hegseth accountable.
