Trump showed a new level of instability, recklessness and extremism when he told Iran that "a whole civilization will die tonight."¹

After he made the genocidal threat, lawmakers began calling for Congress to invoke the 25th Amendment and remove Trump from office. "No President in control of his senses would publicly promise to eradicate an entire civilization," said Senator Chris Murphy.²

Trump has thrown the world into chaos with his illegal wars, horrific threats, and complete unpredictability. He is unfit to serve in the White House.

At least 85 Democrats have spoken out in favor of removing Trump via impeachment under the 25th Amendment.³ Rep. John Larsen introduced 13 articles of impeachment against Trump recently.⁴

And Rep. Jamie Raskin introduced legislation to move the impeachment process forward under the 25th Amendment — where the Vice President, a majority of the cabinet, and supermajorities in the House and Senate would need to agree that the president is "unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office."⁵

"Threatening war crimes is a blatant violation of our constitution and the Geneva Conventions," said Rep. Ro Khanna, one of the lawmakers leading the charge to remove Trump.⁶

The U.S. House must impeach Trump to protect the rule of law and innocent civilians worldwide.
