Investigate ICE prisons and end Trump’s violent ICE raids

    Petition to Congress:
We urge you to end mass deportations, violent ICE raids, and the authoritarian tactics of ICE’s masked agents. We urge you to do everything in your power to investigate and shut down vile, inhumane immigrant detention centers, including the one called “Alligator Alcatraz.”

Border Patrol and other federal forces "hit Charlotte like a storm" last weekend, terrorizing communities, smashing car windows, racially profiling people, and arresting at least 130.1

Like his earlier violent attacks on Los Angeles and Chicago, Trump's latest federal invasion is targeting neighborhoods, schools, places of worship, and everywhere in between. And Trump's dragnet is almost wholly apprehending innocent people — over 97% of people detained in ICE's Chicago invasion have no criminal record.2

Trump's vicious mass deportations are ruining tens of thousands of lives. Once detained, ICE is throwing immigrants into inhumane, abusive ICE prisons and disappearing people so families and lawyers have no idea where they are.

Sign the petition: End the horrors of Trump's mass deportation policies — stop the violent raids and shut down abusive ICE prisons!

ICE currently holds a record 66,000+ detainees in its horrid prisons, and the agency wants to expand into warehouse-like "mega detention centers."3,4

At least 20 people have died in ICE custody this year, the most in over two decades.5 An ACLU report documented the rampant abuses against pregnant and postpartum women in ICE prisons.6 Lawmakers have documented the unlivable conditions at these prisons, including a total lack of sanitation, the denial of basic medical care, the overcrowding of tiny cells, and so much more.

These are the horrors that await the people swept up into ICE custody in Trump’s raids. Congress has a duty to end Trump’s lawless invasions and vicious authoritarian policies.

Sign the petition: Block Trump’s mass deportations terror now.
