End weapons sales to Netanyahu!
Petition to Congress:
We urge you to oppose the proposed $8 billion weapons sale to Israel.
President Biden just told Congress that he wants to send another $8 billion in weapons to Israel1 despite Netanyahu’s continued relentless violence against the Palestinian people.
The Israeli military, supported with weapons and funding from the United States, has killed tens of thousands of people in Gaza. Nearly 70% of those killed have been women and children.2
We need Congress to stand up and prevent another round of fighter jets, attack helicopters and artillery shells from helping Netanyahu wage wars against innocent people.

Senator Bernie Sanders introduced a number of resolutions in an effort to stop the last weapons sale to Israel, and he vowed to do everything he can to block this new $8 billion deal.3 His last set of resolutions received a historic level of support in the Senate, but not enough to block the arms shipments. We need to build on this momentum to change the U.S.’s role in Gaza.
Sen. Sanders noted that America’s continued military support of Israel is a breach of the Foreign Assistance Act of 1961 and the Arms Export Control Act.4 Because Israel has blocked humanitarian aid from reaching the people of Gaza, American law says military funding for Israel must end.
Trump is ready to further intensify U.S. support for Netanyahu's wars, so Congress needs to move quickly to end U.S. support for the horrific violence.
