Don't let Trump defund and destroy Medicaid!

    Petition to Congress:
We urge you to oppose cuts to Medicaid.

House Republicans finally revealed their destructive plan to cut Medicaid by $880 billion.1 Their proposal would send a devastating shockwave through the entire health care system and communities across America.

What Trump calls his “big, beautiful bill” is another crushing blow to the American people and a giant giveaway to his rich friends. This sprawling proposal kicks people off Medicaid AND funds massive tax breaks for the ultra-rich.

Even some Republicans know this is a bad idea, but Trump and Speaker Mike Johnson are going to do everything they can to ensure it passes. Our lawmakers must take a stand for Medicaid and other social services that tens of millions of people rely on.

Trump has spent his second term focused on slashing social services and government agencies that people need — the Social Security Administration that provides so many seniors with income, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau that keeps predatory corporations from taking advantage of people, and so much more.

Now, Trump’s marquee piece of legislation would destroy a cornerstone health care program that millions use to get care. Medicaid cannot withstand such drastic cuts.

Trump is also making sure rich people and big corporations continue getting favorable treatment. This legislation is no different, giving massive tax breaks to the top 1%.

Congress must save Medicaid before Trump and his GOP lackeys take away people’s health care.
