Elon Musk is spreading lies about Social Security, saying that tax dollars are being stolen due to “massive fraud.”¹ It’s a reckless set up as DOGE (Department of Government Efficiency) sets its sights on the Social Security Administration after causing havoc at the Treasury Department, USAID, and the CFPB.²

Musk is a direct threat to Social Security and the benefits seniors rely on. Congress must take a stand and protect the social safety net from Musk’s destructive DOGE actions.

Musk and his DOGE team have already gained access to sensitive Social Security and Medicare payment systems through the Treasury Department.⁴ This is an existential threat to the vital social programs that millions of Americans rely on.

Congress can’t let Musk take a sledgehammer to Social Security.
