Elon Musk says he “can’t wait” to serve in a potential Trump White House role to reduce "waste and needless regulation in government."¹

Billionaire union busting CEO Elon Musk as an official in the federal government?? The guy who is funding a right-wing super PAC with millions of dollars² and already has massive defense contracts with the government via his company, SpaceX?

Musk doesn’t belong in our government. He should have LESS power, not more. That’s why Congress needs to tax Elon Musk and the rest of the billionaires with too much influence in America.

Musk has billions in federal defense contracts, spreads dangerous posts on the social media company he owns, and is even trying to destroy the federal agency in charge of the labor protections in America, the National Labor Review Board, calling it “the very definition of tyranny.”³

Musk has so much political power because of the outrageous wealth he’s acquired thanks to a broken American tax system that favors billionaires and their corporations, like Tesla and SpaceX.

Congress can end the unlimited, runaway wealth of America’s billionaires (which stands at $5.2 trillion).⁴ Our lawmakers must take action to address economic inequality, the dangerous level of power held by the ultra-wealthy, and threats to our democracy.
