Stop Trump's dangerous media agenda — protect every American’s access to the free and open internet!

    Petition to Congress:
We urge you to pass legislation to codify Net Neutrality.

Trump’s Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is targeting media broadcasters for so-called “bias against Trump” based on a conservative firm’s FCC complaint against CBS, NBC, and ABC for “significant and intentional news distortion.”1

The week before Trump took office, Biden’s FCC Chair dismissed the complaint and said that the "threat to the First Amendment has taken on new forms.”2 Trump’s FCC Chair, Brendan Carr, reopened the complaint and forced CBS to hand over the unedited transcript and camera feeds from an interview with former Vice President Harris during the 2024 campaign.3

Trump’s assault on the free press and open internet began in his first term when he relentlessly attacked the media and his admin undid Net Neutrality. Now, we need Congress to use their power to stop Trump’s information takeover.

Even before taking office, Trump (and Big Telecom companies like Comcast and Verizon) got a big win when a federal court struck down Net Neutrality rules that prevent internet service providers from throttling or blocking web access.4 Trump led the undoing of Net Neutrality — now we need Congress to take action before Big Telecom starts restricting a free and open internet.

Trump’s FCC will do everything it can to attack the media and internet freedom.

Carr even pledged that “the work to unwind the Biden administration’s regulatory overreach will continue.”5

Trump’s abuses of power won’t stop unless Congress takes a stand.
