Trump and Elon Musk are attacking federal judges every time they rule against the administration’s extreme, illegal policies — threatening impeachment and spreading lies about judicial powers. So, Republicans in Congress drew up legislation to strip power from the judiciary, and the House just passed this dangerous bill.¹

The “No Rogue Rulings Act” is an extreme right-wing reaction to federal judges placing injunctions on Trump’s policies. If passed through the Senate, the bill would remove critical checks on presidential power. Trump would take a giant step closer to absolute power.

“This isn’t a partisan question. If we want presidents to obey the law, courts need to be able to stop them when they’re overstepping,” said the American Civil Liberties Union.³

When House Republicans passed the No Rogue Rulings Act, they used the same baseless propaganda coming from the Trump admin. They called district judges “left-leaning activists” looking to “weaponize” cases. In reality, judges ruling against Trump are doing their jobs to protect the Constitution and prevent unlimited, illegal presidential power.

Republicans are doing everything they can to remove the checks and balances in the federal system so Trump can grab power and do whatever he wants.

We can’t let Congress take judicial powers from district judges who are holding the Trump administration accountable. We need our Senators to protect the rule of law and stop the No Rogue Rulings Act.
