Reject Paramount's pro-Trump mega-merger with Warner Brothers and CNN!

    Petition to Congress:
We urge you to block Paramount's deal to buy Warner Brothers. The merger violates antitrust laws, would hurt consumers, artists, and press freedom, and poses serious ethical and national security concerns.

Paramount's CEO David Ellison has promised Trump "sweeping changes" at CNN if Paramount's media mega-merger with Warner Brothers is finalized.1

Democratic lawmakers are now calling on the Paramount CEO to answer for turning CBS into a right-wing network for "fawning press coverage" of Trump and the prospect of Ellison turning his growing news empire into Trump's "state media."2

Rep. Jamie Raskin is demanding answers "in light of troubling reports that [Paramount] is colluding with President Trump and his Administration to curtail media independence, spread political censorship, and suppress dissent."3 Congress must halt this monopolistic media takeover!

A federal judge temporarily blocked Paramount's $111 billion takeover of Warner Brothers late last month, setting the stage for Congress to turn up the heat on Ellison and move to block this deal.4

Paramount installed right-wing Bari Weiss at CBS. She ruined 60 Minutes, turning journalism into MAGA propaganda with the full backing of David Ellison. Now, Paramount is on the verge of becoming a media monopoly — a nightmare for press freedom, consumer protections, workers’ rights, and free speech.

Congress must ramp up the pressure on Ellison and Paramount, scrutinize this dangerous deal, and block the mega-merger.

Sign the petition: No Trump "state media" — block Paramount's $111 billion deal for Warner Brothers and CNN!
