    Stop Trump’s war on Iran!

    Petition to Congress:
We urge you to pass a War Powers Resolution to end Trump’s war in Iran.

Trump promised bigger waves of U.S.-Israeli airstrikes in Iran. He also refused to rule out a ground invasion. “I don't have the yips with respect to boots on the ground,” he said.1,2

In an unconstitutional war of aggression that has killed over 550 people in Iran and six U.S. servicemembers, Trump is promising more carnage. The war has already expanded across the Middle East, and will only get worse with sustained U.S.-Israeli strikes. Trump is plunging the U.S. and the Middle East into another prolonged, intractable war that will cost countless lives.

Congress is rushing to stop the bombing with a vote as early as TOMORROW.

Sign the petition: Pass war powers resolutions now to stop Trump's airstrikes in Iran!

Senator Tim Kaine, one of the lead sponsors of the war powers resolution in the Senate, said that, “with access to ample classified information about threats from Iran and others, I can state plainly that there was no imminent threat from Iran to America sufficient to warrant committing our sons and daughters to another war in the Middle East.”3

Trump’s belligerent actions alongside Israel violate the U.S. Constitution and international law, and don’t serve the interests of the American people.

This war rings out with senseless, violent echoes of the Iraq war. Congress was near-unanimous in support of that war, but many lawmakers — and the majority of Americans — oppose Trump’s aggression in Iran. Congress can take a stand this week and stop Trump’s bombs.

Sign the petition: Stop the U.S.-Israeli war on Iran NOW! Urge your members of Congress to pass a war powers resolution to end Trump’s military aggression.
