Protect Abortion Medication
Petition to President Biden:
Sign an executive order immediately to protect abortion medication, as right wing judges continue to attack women’s rights and access to abortion care.
The U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals recently ruled that the 2000 FDA’s approval of Mifepristone, an abortion pill, should be invalidated, and that the 2016 amendment for more accessibility should be rolled back.
If the Supreme Court allows the implementation of this decision, access to abortion pills through online ordering, mail delivery, and pharmacy dispensing would be severely cut.
Trump-appointed Judge James Ho is one of three Judges on that panel. His wife, Allyson Ho, received multiple payments from a conservative Christian legal group before this ruling.2 With Alysson Ho engaging in so many paid events with a group that has led efforts against the right to abortion, James Ho should have recused himself from this decision. Yet he didn’t.
Sign the petition to President Biden: Issue an executive order to protect abortion medication now so that these obviously-corrupt judges can’t strip away even MORE rights from families across the country.
