Block Trump’s order to end birthright citizenship!
Petition to Congress:
We urge you to oppose efforts to limit, restrict, or end birthright citizenship. Please pass legislation codifying birthright citizenship.
On day one, Trump issued an executive order to end birthright citizenship. This blatantly unconstitutional action was halted by 3 federal judges, but now a Supreme Court ruling is allowing Trump’s order to move forward.1
Last week’s SCOTUS ruling took the unprecedented step of banning nationwide injunctions, stripping power from the judiciary and handing it directly to Trump. That means the White House can now ignore federal judges and go full speed ahead with taking away citizenship from millions of people. Congress must uphold the Constitution and check Trump’s runaway power.

When Trump first issued his birthright citizenship order, one judge called it “blatantly unconstitutional.”2 That’s because birthright citizenship isn't a technicality or a political bargaining chip — it's a cornerstone of our Constitution, protected by the Fourteenth Amendment.
Trump is dead set on taking away citizenship from people as part of his destructive, racist mass deportations plan. Congress must pass legislation immediately to block Trump’s illegal order and protect citizenship.
