Block Trump's unprecedented attack on national parks, protected forests, and the Arctic!
Petition to Congress:
We urge you to speak out and stop the Trump administration from rolling back the Roadless Rule and reviews of drilling projects in Alaska under the National Environmental Policy Act. We urge you to protect parks funding, restore staffing levels so that parks are no longer understaffed, and stop the administration's move to centralize control over national parks, which would weaken the Park Service's ability to serve the public.
Trump is rolling back protections for national forests and slashing oversight of oil drilling in Alaska. He's pressuring the Parks Service to sell part of Yosemite National Park, and is siphoning off over $400 million from park projects to fund his D.C. vanity monuments. This is Trump's all-out war on the environment to fuel corporate profits.1,2,3
His plan to open up 45 million acres of forests around national parks will allow corporate loggers and developers to bulldoze the land.4 His plan to end formal National Environmental Policy Act reviews of drilling projects in Alaska is a big win for Big Oil and a pollution disaster.5
Trump's corporate oligarchs will benefit from these disastrous policies while America's cherished parks, wildlife, water sources, and ecosystems suffer the consequences. Congress must step in and stop Trump from eviscerating key land protections.

At the same time that the White House is opening up parks and forests to corporate development, Trump is draining hundreds of millions of dollars from park service funding for his personal authoritarian construction projects at the White House and National Mall.6 Trump even pulled emergency workers from national parks to assist with his vanity renovations in D.C.7
Trump is trading away public lands for corporate windfalls. He's sacrificing Yellowstone, Yosemite, Grand Teton, and many other of America's natural wonders for gold-plated D.C. statues and ballrooms.
Our lawmakers must stop Trump before he wholly destroys America's parks, forests, and Arctic ecosystems.
