Block Trump's corporate destruction of forests near Yellowstone and Yosemite!
Petition to Congress:
We urge you to speak out and stop the Trump administration from rolling back the Roadless Rule. We urge you to protect parks funding, restore staffing levels so that parks are no longer understaffed, and stop the administration's move to centralize control over national parks, which would weaken the Park Service's ability to serve the public.
Trump is rushing forward a plan to hand over 45 million acres of protected forests to profiteering loggers and developers. It would lead to the corporate destruction of wildlife, habitats, and ecosystems around Yellowstone, Yosemite, and other cherished national parks.1
The White House is opening up parks to corporate development while Trump drains hundreds of millions of dollars from park service funding for his personal authoritarian construction projects at the White House and National Mall.2
Trump even pulled emergency workers from national parks to assist with his vanity renovations in D.C.3 He cut wildfire preparedness from California parks.4 Our lawmakers must stop Trump before he wholly destroys America's parks and forests in favor of a Washington D.C. built in his far-right MAGA image.

Elected officials, conservation experts, and local media are all raising alarm bells over Trump's proposed repeal of the "Roadless Rule" — the decades-old regulation that has preserved forests, wildlife, and water sources from incursions by corporate profiteers.
Uproar hit a fever pitch when reporting dropped that Trump is actively pressuring the Parks Service to sell part of Yosemite National Park to a private real estate developer and investment firm led by a MAGA donor.5
Trump is dismantling America's national parks, just like he's dismantled critical parts of our government, cultural institutions, and democracy. Congress must stop his corporate giveaway of our parks and forests.
