    Protect Medicare and Social Security!

    Petition to Congress:
Millions of people rely on Medicare and Social Security to survive. It would be reckless and irresponsible to make cuts to Medicare and Social Security. Please protect these critical universal social programs from any cuts.

Republicans have made it clear, the GOP is ready to make cuts to Medicare and Social Security.1,2

Millions of Americans depend on Medicare and Social Security to survive — and any cuts to the programs are unacceptable. When it comes to protecting our most important universal social programs, we must get loud and let Congress know that we won’t stand for it.

Urge your members of Congress to protect Medicare and Social Security from cuts!

The most powerful Republicans in the U.S. House are already discussing plans to cut entitlement programs like Medicare and Social Security if they take power — that includes GOP House leader Kevin McCarthy.3

Bloomberg News reports that finding ways to shrink Medicare and Social Security is a TOP priority for key Republicans in the House.4 GOP Senators like Rick Scott and Ron Johnson have taken direct aim at weakening the safety net programs.5

We can’t allow the GOP to gut the social safety net in America. And we know we can’t take it for granted — we’ve seen the rights and programs that have been taken away from us already. Seniors rely on Medicare and Social Security, and we as a country rely on these programs for our families, friends, and neighbors.

We must act now: sign our petition urging Congress to protect Medicare and Social Security from cuts.
