    Don't let Trump and DOGE destroy Social Security!

    Petition to Congress:
    We urge you to oppose the Department of Government Efficiency and cuts to Social Security.

    Trump and DOGE aren’t slowing down their attacks on Social Security. A new Trump rule could deepen cuts at the Social Security Administration (SSA) while the remaining staff struggle to deliver benefits after thousands of workers were fired.1,2

    Pres. Biden’s former Social Security head said that Trump is peddling “big lies” about SSA in order to wreck its ability to function, serve the public, and issue benefits checks to millions of people.3

    The Trump admin, including Elon Musk, labeled people concerned about missed Social Security checks as “fraudsters” and spread disinformation about high levels of fraud in the program.4 Congress must stand up and save the benefits that tens of millions of Americans rely on.

    Mass disruptions in Social Security benefits are coming. Some have already been wrongly kicked off benefits by DOGE’s reckless cuts.5

    DOGE cuts at Social Security have led to mass firings, the closing of field offices, manipulation of secure data, and desperate people who can’t find help with their benefits.

    Musk and Trump are leading an attack on Social Security like we haven’t seen before, trying to gut SSA so it can’t serve its legal mandate to send benefits to 73 million people. Why are our lawmakers allowing this to happen?

    Congress must stand up now for the millions of seniors, people with disabilities, and others who depend on Social Security.
