Don't fund Trump's Guantanamo Bay immigrant prison!
Petition to Congress:
We urge you to oppose funding for cruel, inhumane mass deportations and oppose funding to use Guantanamo Bay as an immigrant detention center.
Trump has a plan to imprison 30,000 migrants at a detention center in Guantanamo Bay.1 And his Department of Homeland Security said it’s already preparing to send more people to the infamous prison.2
Trump’s goal of deporting 15-20 million people is cruel, impractical, and extremely costly.3 Jailing immigrants in Guantanamo is just one expensive plank of this awful policy and we need Congress to say NO to its funding.

Trump’s mass deportations — including the ICE sweeps that are already underway — will tear apart countless families and disrupt communities across the country. Deporting millions of our family, friends, and neighbors will not make our communities safe or help people thrive.
Trump is even threatening federal prosecutors and state and local officials if they refuse to help him carry out his mass deportation plans.4
Our lawmakers need to stand firm to protect immigrant communities from arbitrary detention and deportation.
