We urge you to OPPOSE the No Rogue Rulings Act, H.R. 1526. Our democracy depends on checks and balances and the independence of the courts. Please oppose all efforts to undermine judicial oversight.
Federal judges have been one of the strongest checks on the Trump administration’s right-wing, anti-democracy agenda. Now, the GOP is trying to take power away from judges by passing the “No Rogue Rulings Act.” And a vote is imminent in the U.S. House.
Top Trump adviser, Stephen Miller, is leading the charge to spread propaganda about so-called “activist judges” — claiming that any judge to rule against Trump is “communist” and “extreme.”1 This is a clear, dangerous Trump administration power grab and we must stop it.

Trump and Elon Musk have already called for impeaching judges that have done their job, protected the constitutional rights of Americans and the rule of law, and ruled against the administration’s illegal actions. Now, Republicans are trying to take power away from judges via legislation.
Trump’s illegal funding freeze, illegal mass deportations, and many other of the destructive policies of the administration have been halted by judges. We can’t let Congress take judicial powers from district judges in a vote happening SOON.
