Stop USPS privatization. Save the Post Office now!
Petition to Congress:
We urge you to block any attempt to privatize the USPS, and to reverse policies that restrict the U.S. Postal Service's ability to address its funding crisis.
Trump's handpicked Postmaster General said recently that the U.S. Postal Service could run out of money within the next year.1 That could be just what Trump wants.
Trump and his billionaire Commerce Secretary, Howard Lutnick, plotted an illegal takeover of USPS soon after Trump started his second term.2
If Trump gets his way, he could hand the Post Office over to corporate executives who will profit while USPS as we know it is destroyed. Postal workers will lose their jobs, mail voting could be jeopardized, consumers will pay higher prices, and small businesses will struggle. Congress must protect the Post Office now.
Sign the petition: Protect the USPS from privatization!
Millions of people rely on USPS to deliver prescriptions, ballots, letters and packages from loved ones, and so much more. A postal service run by Wall Street privatizers could throw that all away, stop delivering to certain addresses, and cut off services that aren't profitable.
We can’t let Trump, Lutnick, and Wall Street tear down USPS, sell it for parts, and place it into the hands of the ultra-rich.
Sign the petition: Congress must fund USPS and save it from privatization threats.
