    Stop Trump from attacking Greenland. Pass the No Funds for NATO Invasion Act & a war powers resolution now!

    Petition to Congress:
    We urge you to use your congressional powers to stop Trump from attacking Denmark and trying to seize Greenland. We urge you to support the No Funds for NATO Invasion Act and war powers resolutions blocking military aggression against Greenland.

    Trump said there’s “no going back” on his vow to seize Greenland from NATO ally Denmark.1

    Trump recently punished eight European countries with increased tariffs — retribution for sending troops to Greenland in support of Denmark. European leaders responded with warnings of a “dangerous downward spiral.”2 Greenland’s Prime Minister told residents to prepare for a possible invasion.3

    Congress is fighting back against Trump’s quest to destabilize the world. A bipartisan group of lawmakers just introduced legislation to prohibit funding for strikes against NATO allies — the No Funds for NATO Invasion Act.4 And Senate Democrats are backing a war powers resolution to stop military aggression against Greenland.5

    Trump is fixated on Greenland. One of his MAGA allies in Congress even introduced a bill to make Greenland the 51st state.6

    A number of Trump advisors worry about a military attack on Greenland.7 Some Senate Republicans have spoken out against invading a NATO ally.8 But none of it is stopping Trump.

    After the White House jacked up tariffs on Norway — one of the eight countries that sent troops in support of Greenland — Trump wrote to the Prime Minister of Norway a disgraceful letter. Trump erroneously blamed the country for not awarding him the Nobel Peace Prize, something the government of Norway has no control over.9

    Senator Ruben Gallego said, “What’s happening in Venezuela shows us that we can’t just ignore Trump’s reckless threats.” He added, “We must stop him before he invades another country on a whim.”10
