Stop Trump from attacking Denmark and Greenland
Petition to Congress:
We urge you to use your congressional powers to stop Trump from attacking Denmark and trying to seize Greenland.
Trump wants to seize Greenland from NATO ally Denmark.
After meeting with the White House, Danish officials said they weren’t able to change Trump’s mind. Danish Foreign Minister Lars Lokke Rasmussen said it’s clear that Trump has “this wish of conquering over Greenland.”1
Following his invasion of Venezuela, Trump is now emboldened to launch military strikes on other countries. One of Trump’s allies in the U.S. House even introduced a bill to make Greenland the 51st state.2 Congress must immediately stop Trump from attacking Denmark.

Senator Ruben Gallego said, “What’s happening in Venezuela shows us that we can’t just ignore Trump’s reckless threats.” He added, “We must stop him before he invades another country on a whim.”3
Trump is threatening to once again abuse his power, bomb an ally, destabilize the world, and put the safety of all people living in the U.S., Denmark, and Greenland at risk. France and other European countries have even sent troops to Greenland to participate in joint military exercises led by Denmark.4 If Congress fails to act now, international chaos will ensue.
Congress needs to take immediate action to stop Trump’s military aggression.
