Block Trump from rigging midterms — stop the SAVE America Act!
Petition to the U.S. Senate:
We urge you to reject all versions of the SAVE America Act, the SAVE Act, and all other voter suppression measures. These bills are a threat to our voting rights and our democracy.
Trump proclaimed that he wouldn’t sign any other bills into law until the Senate passed the SAVE America Act, an extreme voter suppression measure and key part of MAGA’s attempt to rig the midterms.
"MUST SHOW VOTER I.D. & PROOF OF CITIZENSHIP: NO MAIL-IN BALLOTS," Trump ranted on Truth Social.1 Trump’s dream anti-democracy bill would require government-issued photo ID to vote in federal elections and proof of citizenship in order to register to vote — potentially disenfranchising millions of people as November approaches.2
Trump’s authoritarian policies, fueled by anti-immigrant conspiracy theories and far-right propaganda, could destroy democratic elections in America. The SAVE America Act already passed the House, so the Senate must stop this bill at all costs.

To justify their extreme voter suppression measures, Republicans continue to propagate the myth of mass “noncitizen voting” and the Big Lie that the 2020 election was stolen from Trump.3
In reality, the GOP is aiming to block people who don’t have government-issued photo IDs or ready access to their passport or birth certificates from their constitutional right to vote. That includes millions of married women who’ve changed their last names and don’t have a passport or birth certificate with their current last name.4
Trump wants to ram this bill through the Senate to put a giant thumb on the scales for November, as MAGA also tries to ban mail voting, seizes state voter data, and raises up Steve Bannon’s call for ICE to surround the polls during the midterms.5 The Senate must stop Trump’s authoritarian scheme.
