Stop Trump’s violent mass deportations
Petition to Congress:
We urge you to end mass deportations, violent ICE raids, and the authoritarian tactics of ICE’s masked agents.
Trump and Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Kristi Noem invaded Minneapolis with 2,000 federal agents — the "largest immigration operation ever."1 At the center of this violent siege, an ICE agent shot and killed a legal observer at a protest.2,3
Trump is unleashing lawless violence in neighborhoods across the country, leading directly to federal agents killing people in the street. In response, Rep. Ilhan Omar said, "This is not law enforcement. It is state violence. It is simply indefensible, and ICE must be held accountable."4
DHS is focused on violently achieving Stephen Miller's horrific mass deportation quotas, while totally disregarding the law, civil liberties, and human life. Congress must finally rein in Trump's out-of-control ICE.
Sign the petition: Stop violent ICE raids immediately and halt Trump's devastating mass deportations!
After the shooting, Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey said, "What they are doing is causing chaos and distrust. They are ripping families apart, sowing chaos in the streets and, in this case, quite literally killing people."5
Trump began his targeted attacks on Minnesota when he called Rep. Ilhan Omar and other Somali immigrants "garbage" in December.6 After the xenophobic rant, Trump unleashed federal agents on Minneapolis-St.Paul, cities that are home to large Somali-American communities.7 And now, Trump is escalating his attack into the largest ICE invasion ever.
Trump's authoritarian violence, surveillance, arrests, and deportations are a threat to the civil liberties, safety, and First Amendment rights of every person in America. Congress must act and stop ICE's invasions.
Sign the petition: Block Trump's mass deportations terror now.
