Trump's 2017 tax law and his big ugly budget last year cut taxes for millionaires, billionaires, and big corporations while gutting health care and social programs for average people.
An analysis by Senator Elizabeth Warren found that Trump's budget law will save the richest 1% $132 billion just in 2027. The projected tens of billions in Trump tax breaks for corporations like Amazon, Microsoft, Tesla, SpaceX, and Meta annually could have instead funded Medicaid, SNAP, and ACA subsidies.1
Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, and Mark Zuckerberg don't need these tax breaks. "We can no longer tolerate a corrupt tax code," Senator Bernie Sanders said.2 It's time to pass legislation backed by Sanders and Warren to make millionaires, billionaires, and big corporations pay their fair share.

Sen. Warren's Ultra-Millionaire Tax Act would end Trump's handouts to the ultra-rich and raise taxes on households worth more than $50 million.3
Sen. Sanders's Make Billionaires Pay Their Fair Share Act would establish a 5% annual wealth tax on the 938 billionaires in America, and provide direct support to working families.4
Wealth inequality is completely out of control. In the first year of Trump's second term, billionaires got $1.5 TRILLION richer.5 Trump's tax cuts have made the disparities between the ultra-wealthy and the rest of America even worse. His policies and corporate greed have jacked up costs for everyday Americans, while the rich cash in.
It's time for our lawmakers to stand up for working people, halt the widening wealth gap in America, and make the ultra-wealthy pay their fair share.
