We urge you to support legislation, including the Ultra-Millionaire Tax Act and Make Billionaires Pay Their Fair Share Act, to make the ultra-wealthy and big corporations pay their fair share in taxes.
Elon Musk is spending more to back Republicans in the midterms than he spent to support Trump and his allies during the 2024 election.1
The richest person in the world shouldn't be able to buy our elections. Musk gave Republicans another $76 million just last week, adding to the hundreds of millions he already gave to GOP campaigns. Musk's total spend in the midterms is now $442 million.2
Trump's signature 2017 tax cuts and his big ugly budget law last year have been a windfall for Musk, the ultra-rich, and big corporations. Congress needs to protect our democracy right now, before billionaires start trying to buy the next elections.

Senators Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren introduced legislation to tax the ultra-wealthy in order to fund health care, education, housing, and social programs.
Senator Sanders's Make Billionaires Pay Their Fair Share Act takes direct aim at the very wealthiest people in the country, like Musk. It would establish a 5% annual wealth tax on the 938 billionaires in America, and use that money to provide direct support to working families.3
Senator Warren's Ultra-Millionaire Tax Act would end Trump's handouts to the ultra-rich and raise taxes on households worth more than $50 million.4
Our lawmakers must stand up for working people and free and fair elections, and make the billionaires pay their fair share.
