Trump is using $2.8 billion in U.S. tax dollars to send Israel tens of thousands of bombs — including 2,000-pound bombs that are some of the most destructive munitions in the world.¹

These 2,000-pound bombs, including MK-84s and BLU-117s, blast metal fragments in all directions for hundreds of yards, rip through thick concrete, form deep craters in the ground, and have been routinely dropped by Israel in civilian areas throughout the genocide in Gaza.²

Israel continues its genocidal violence in Gaza, the West Bank, and Lebanon. And Trump continues bypassing Congress to send Israel weapons in support of its atrocities. Our lawmakers must take action now to stop this weapons shipment!

Senator Jeanne Shaheen and Representative Gregory Meeks, the lead Democrats on the Senate and House Foreign Affairs Committees, are attempting to stop this weapons transfer.³

Rep. Meeks said, "The Trump administration’s proposed sale of 40,000 2,000-pound bombs, some of the most destructive munitions in our arsenal, raises grave, unresolved concerns about how these munitions could be used in densely populated areas of Gaza and Lebanon."⁴

The U.S. government has been complicit in Israel's horrific violence in Gaza for nearly 3 years. Continued U.S. support gave Israel the resources and backing necessary to launch another genocidal campaign in Lebanon after the start of the reckless war on Iran. Our leaders in Congress must finally stop more U.S. funding and weapons from flowing to Israel.
