    Protect mail voting and ban ICE at the polls!

    Petition to Congress:
    We urge you to reject all measures to undermine America's democratic elections, restrict mail voting, and infringe on voting rights. We urge you to protect mail voting, state voter data, and the integrity of polling places with measures including the Absentee and Mail Voter Protection Act, and legislation to stop federal law enforcement from patrolling polling places.

    Trump recently repeated his false claim that "there is a lot of cheating in vote by mail," and his postal service is now directly threatening mail-in ballots.1,2

    New documents revealed that Trump's Department of Justice (DOJ) sent criminal prosecutors and an FBI official to monitor primaries in Arizona earlier this year. Around the same time, the administration threatened to arrest election officials who didn't follow Trump's illegal election policies.3,4

    ICE has investigated hundreds of voter registration groups AND amassed a trove of millions of voter records in Trump's cynical hunt for fictional mass voter fraud.5,6 Congress must act to protect mail voting and our elections right now!

    Agencies across Trump's authoritarian regime are threatening our free and fair elections.

    The White House recently launched a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) blitz to find fraud in the voter rolls.7 And DHS head Markwayne Mullin hasn't ruled out sending ICE to polling places in November — a plan that Steve Bannon has cheered on.8,9

    Trump filled his administration with election deniers to help implement voter suppression policies that actually threaten the integrity of our elections.

    Congress must stand up for democracy and reject voter suppression policies now.
