    Petition to Congress:
    We urge you to protect mail voting and state voter data, with measures including the Absentee and Mail Voter Protection Act. You must reject all versions of the SAVE America Act, the SAVE Act, and other voter suppression measures. These policies are a threat to our voting rights and our democracy.

    Two shocking Trump administration moves are putting our democratic elections in jeopardy.

    The USPS says it's preparing to implement Trump's extreme executive order that severely restricts mail voting. It requires that states hand over voter data to DHS so the federal government can compile a list of "verified U.S. citizens" who can vote.1,2 The order could disenfranchise millions and put countless people in danger.

    Senator Mark Warner says Trump's new loyalist pick for acting director of national intelligence (DNI) raises his concerns TENFOLD that the Trump administration will attempt to manipulate the November elections.3 Congress must act with urgency to safeguard America's free and fair elections.

    Trump's choice for acting DNI, Bill Pulte, has no relevant intel experience, but he's helped Trump weaponize the government against his political enemies.

    Senators Warner and Ed Markey both warned that Pulte could help the Trump administration find an excuse to interfere in the elections.4 Several Republican senators said Pulte has no qualifications to be in the DNI role.5

    Congress must loudly and forcefully condemn Trump's open, deliberate attempts to end free and fair elections in America. Our lawmakers must stop the SAVE Act, one of the worst voter suppression bills in modern times, and pass legislation to protect mail voting from Trump's imminent restrictions.
