Tell Congress to fund humanitarian aid to Gaza!

    Petition to Congress:
We urge you to protect funding to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency so that humanitarian aid can reach Gaza.

OxFam just confirmed that Israel is still blocking humanitarian aid from entering Gaza — all while hundreds of thousands of people are in desperate need of food, water, medical attention, and other aid.1

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) is one of the most important providers of food, water, and medical aid to Gaza, yet the United States and many other countries suspended funding to the agency last month.2

The European Union, Canada, Sweden, and Australia have already restored funding to UNRWA, but the United States is the agency’s biggest funder.3 Congress could vote on restoring funding this week, and we need to let our lawmakers know that we support humanitarian aid to the Palestinian people now!

Sign the petition: The people of Gaza need food, water, and medical aid. Tell Congress to protect funding to UNRWA so that humanitarian aid can reach the Palestinian people.

The devastating cuts to UNRWA threaten vital food, shelter, and health clinics that Palestinians desperately need as a result of Israel’s bombing campaigns, with tens of thousands of people wounded in need of care and over 2 million people left food insecure.4

If Congress and President Biden are serious about delivering humanitarian aid to Gaza, the U.S. government must send the $370 million to UNRWA that it has pledged in the past — especially as Netanyahu’s government continues blocking food, water, and medical aid from entering Gaza.

Add your name: Congress must vote this week to protect UNRWA funding and desperately needed humanitarian aid to Gaza.
